Readme Panorama Tools for Gimp/Win

This is a port of the Panorama Tools plug-in
to run under GIMP for Windows. Please see the
main PanoTools distribution for infos on
how to use the plug-in.

Installation:

You need the the Gimp graphics program for
Windows 95/98/NT, get version 1.2.0 from
www.gimp.org/win32 and install on your system.
You also need the library file pano12.dll
from the main PanoTools distribution. Get
version 2.5a1 from www.fh-furtwangen.de/~dersch
and put this library in your Windows/System
directory or any place where PTools can access
it.
Finally, you need the file PTools.exe from
this distribution, which has to be placed in the
plug-ins folder of the Gimp directory.
Restart Gimp. Load an image, and look for the
Panorama Tools under Filters.

Changes to Photoshop version:

The Gimp is capable of processing scaled images
from filters. Therefor, this version of the
plug-in does not need temporary files to
hold scaled images. The respective dialog options
in the preferences dialog are still there,
but they are only used to switch between
scaled and unscaled destination image size.
