Physically Modelled Media Plug-in for The GIMP

Provides two new menu items:
  Media/Color Pencils...
  Media/Texture...

Color Pencils
-------------

Color Pencils allow you to draw using simulated artist's pencils and an
eraser. A pressure sensitive graphics tablet is highly recommended.
When you first start the plug-in, a default paper texture will be
generated if one isn't already defined. To draw, select a color and
write with the stylus. To erase, flip the stylus over to the erase
side. You may then select a color from the palette using the eraser
(the default color is white) then erase as desired. The harder you
press, the deeper the clean.

If you don't have a graphics tablet, you may use the mouse. Draw using
the left button and erase with the right button. Since a mouse does
not provide pressure information (not to mention mice are harder to control),
the effect won't be as realistic.

NOTE:
The color pencils only work on an RGB surface. Due to the physics involved,
it is not possible to draw on transparent layers. The pencils cannot be
used on a greyscale image. Draw on the background layer without an alpha
channel.

Texture
-------

The texture plug-in allows you to define a new paper grain. Simply select
the grain type (light, heavy, or canvas) and the scaling factor. Try
out the various choices and see what you like best. The dialog box provides
a preview so you know what you are getting.
